Communications

  • Publications

The rule of thumb is monthly or quarterly newsletters. This is dependant on the decision of the Developer or Board of Directors. High Sierra Management, in some cases, utilizes publishing companies to produce newsletters for communities. Many of these companies provide this service at no charge to the communities, and in return they are allowed to sell advertising using neighborhood businesses. Postage is the only cost for the communities, and in many cases less expensive bulk rate postage is utilized. The publications are mailed from High Sierra Management's office to the residents and off-site owners. In addition, the publications can be posted to the community website, in the clubhouse or on a community bulletin board. Another option would be for a committee of homeowner volunteers to write the newsletters and we would oversee the project and perform the mailing.

High Sierra Management can create any newsletter or publication the Association requests. Information can be gathered by a committee, Board of Directors or Developers and Builders.

  • Websites

Community Websites can be constructed and maintained in different ways:

Utilizing Association Voice through High Sierra Management's website.

Our current financial institution offers our associations a free website.

Some Cities offer free links that allow an HOA to build their own website link.

Many HOA's form committees that will construct and maintain through volunteers.

The HOA can hire a vendor that specializes in website construction and maintenance.

Many Developers provide informational websites that can be assumed by the HOA at buildout.

  • Education

High Sierra Management offers Board of Director and Committee trainning through continued education and seminar attendance.
